Terms of service
Ravn is in private beta. These terms set out what you can expect from it, what is expected of you, and what is deliberately not promised.
Using Ravn
Ravn runs on your own machine against your own accounts. You may use it for any lawful purpose. You are responsible for having the right to access whatever you connect it to. Connecting an account you do not control, or a shared account without permission, is your responsibility rather than ours.
Your data stays yours
Connecting an account grants Ravn read-only access for your own use. It grants us nothing. We claim no ownership of, and no licence to, anything Ravn reads on your behalf. How that material is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your credentials
Ravn encrypts stored access tokens under a key held in your operating system's keychain. Keeping that machine and that keychain secure is your responsibility. A recovery export, if you create one, can restore every connection and should be treated as a secret in its own right.
What is not promised
Ravn is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It is beta software that reasons over incomplete information using models that are sometimes wrong. It can misread a document, misattribute a statement, or answer confidently from material that has gone stale.
Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a consequential decision, legal, financial, medical or otherwise, without checking the sources it cites. Ravn shows you those sources precisely so that checking is possible.
Availability
Features that depend on third parties, including mail, file, calendar and code providers, model providers and search, can change or stop working on their terms rather than ours. No uptime is guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising out of your use of Ravn.
Ending it
Stop whenever you like. Revoke access from your provider's permissions page and delete Ravn's local database. That removes both its reach and its record. We may end access to the private beta at any time.
Changes
These terms may change as Ravn does. The date above will change with them, and continuing to use Ravn after that means accepting the revision.
